Rain showers did not dampen the celebratory mood as we boarded the motor yacht Voyager to embark on a 3-hour San Francisco Bay cruise. Once we were all on board and after Captain Eliot’s safety briefing, we set off out of the Berkeley Marina toward San Francisco. Most of us have experienced the Bay Bridge from the topside, and we can report that the bridge from below is equally spectacular. Captain Eliot took us into McCovey Cove for up-close views of Oracle Park – home of San Francisco Giants baseball. Then we cruised along the historic San Francisco waterfront to take in gorgeous views of SFFD Fireboat Station 35, Rincon Park with its stunning Cupid’s Span bow and arrow sculpture, the stately and historic Ferry Building, the many piers that house museums, restaurants, cruise ship terminals, offices, markets, and event spaces, famous landmarks Pier 39, the Transamerica Pyramid, Coit Tower, and the SS Jeremiah O’Brien. We headed out to and circumnavigated notorious Alcatraz Island before heading back to the Berkeley Marina. The sun was setting beyond the Golden Gate Bridge as the glimmering lights of the City, North Bay and East Bay began to sparkle.

We had a blast cruising with our amazing clients on our San Francisco Bay Cruise! Thanks to all who came out and made this a memorable event.
